Are any of the cars suitable for 1-year-olds?
All our Electric Ride on's have a minimum age of 3 years+ and it is up to the discretion of parents to purchase these for ages below that recommendation. If you do make the decision to purchase for ages below our recommended guidelines, then, please use our filters to find products which have 3 or 5 point harnesses included in the car. These will make sure they are better protected in the vehicle vs the standard lap belts which most cars come included with. The image below will show you how
How long do the ride on Cars/Motorbikes last on a single charge?
This is heavily dependant on factors such as weight, surface, incline, temperature etc; however, you can expect anywhere from 45mins-60mins on the lower battery capacity models and 60+ on our ride on cars with the higher capacity batteries. Keep in mind that these are estimates and they could go up and down depending on terrain.
Will personalised number plates be delivered with the car for next day delivery?
The number plates are included in the box.
Can I use the parent control if a child is unable to drive by themselves?
Yes, parental control gives you the ability to fully control the vehicle without any input from the driver. You can also take over controls via remote if you feel the child is veering away from the path so you can steer them back in the right direction.
Does 12V mean the battery will last longer?
No, the battery voltage generally makes the cars/motorbikes faster, however, this does not always translate to a longer lasting battery.
How long does assembly take for Ride on Cars?
Depending on how handy you are, the assembly process for kids electric ride on cars can take anywhere from 15 – 30mins. This is usually broken down into 6 parts Motors Wheels Steering Wheel & Column Windscreen Connecting the Battery Seat
Why does the battery not last as long as advertised?
If you are using the vehicle on a surface such as grass or wet tarmac (we don’t recommend this) then it is only normal that the battery does not last as long. Going uphill or exceeding the maximum user weight also has a big impact on battery longevity. In the cases where the car/bike feels more sluggish than usual, then the battery is most likely undercharged. A full charge should bring things back to normal, however, if you feel the battery is beyond saving, we do stock a full range of batteri
What does my order look like when it arrives?/Are ride on toys fully assembled?
Your ride-on car/motorbike is delivered boxed, and yes, assembly is required. Most models will not take longer than 30mins to assemble; however, it can be done a lot quicker depending on your skills. Ride on cars are required to be assembled by doing the following: Motors (some models have these pre-installed) Wheels Steering wheel Seat Windscreen (some models have this pre-installed) Mirrors (some have these pre-installed)
Can I play my own music?
Yes. Most of our ride-on’s come with an aux port to plug in an mp3 player or USB port so that you can play your own music through the built-in speakers. If you are having trouble playing MP3's through the USB port, please follow our formatting guidelines here
What is the top speed of a particular item?
Most of our items will not exceed 6km/h, but this can vary. if we do not have the answer in the description we can always check with the manufacturer to be sure.
Can I use the Car/Motorbike in wet conditions?
No. This is not recommended as water going into the electrical components will cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
Do number plates come attached to the car/motorbike?
No, this is something you need to stick on.
My car/motorbike has blemishes/scratches is it used?
All ride-on cars/motorbikes have fabricated bodies without post-process; therefore, you will always see imperfections and blemishes on the body & windscreen. To help keep the costs down, the manufacturing process favours speed. If the body of the vehicle were to go through a polishing process after fabrication, the prices would make these ride-on toys unattainable by most :(. In the interest of hiding some of these blemishes and imperfections, some car models have a layer of paint added to the
Can I store the Car/Motorbike outside?
We do not recommend this. Condensation could cause issues with the electrical components therefore for longevity we recommend that you try and store the vehicle indoors.
