🔋 Ride-On Car Battery Lifespan & Care Guide
Our ride-on vehicles use sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries. These are consumable components, and their lifespan depends heavily on charging routine, storage, and usage.
Expected Battery Lifespan

✔ How To Maximise Battery Life
- Fully charge before first use
- Recharge after every use
- Recharge every 30 days during periods of non-use
- Store indoors in a cool, dry place
- Disconnect the battery during long storage (after fully charging)
- Use only the correct charger supplied/recommended
✖ What Can Shorten Battery Life
- Leaving the battery discharged after use
- Storing the vehicle for long periods without charging
- Repeatedly running the battery completely flat
- Storing in cold, damp, or outdoor conditions
- Using the wrong charger
- Not completing full charge cycles
⚠️ Battery Warranty & Coverage
Ride-on vehicle batteries are consumable components, and it is normal for performance to reduce over time depending on use and care.
What is covered
If a genuine manufacturing fault is identified, this will be supported in line with your statutory rights.
What is not covered
Reduced battery performance or failure caused by:
- Lack of regular charging
- Storage without maintenance charging
- Leaving the battery in a discharged state
- Environmental or storage conditions
is not considered a manufacturing fault and is therefore not covered under warranty.

Important Information
Lead-acid batteries naturally lose performance over time. Limited use does not guarantee longer lifespan if the battery is left uncharged during storage.
