# My car only works in forward OR reverse

If the car only works in forward OR reverse then it can be 1 of 2 things causing this.

|| It can be the forward/reverse switch/gear wire has become disconnected or has stopped working, failing that is will be your control board 


A few easy things to check - Try it with the remote. If it works with the remote you immediately know the switch needs replaced and we can dispatch this ASAP for you with a video on how to change.


If your model does not come with a remote gently remove the forward/reverse switch/gear and check the wires are connected, if they are swap the wires around and if the forward then stops working you know it's the switch and again we can replace this.


If it does not work with the remote or switching the wires doesn't change what is working and what is not then you know it's the motherboard.
