# I live in the UK Mainland but my delivery charge is high. Why is this?

Certain postcodes in Scotland and the outlying islands incur an elevated delivery rate imposed by our designated couriers.

For deliveries to islands, regrettably, we must transfer a portion of the increased charge to our customers, as absorbing the entirety of this cost is not economically sustainable for our operations.

It is worth noting that we already subsidize a portion of these additional costs on your behalf, and the presented price reflects a discounted rate compared to the complete shipping expense we incur.
