# How to Diagnose a Faulty Wheel

### The most common symptoms of a faulty wheel are:


* Wheel not spinning while the motor is running
* Wheel falling off during driving
* Wheel not staying on the axle

To troubleshoot:

For snap or clip-on wheels, check the springs inside to ensure they are present and positioned correctly to secure the wheel onto the axle.
If the wheel is not spinning, use the provided wrenches to loosen the bolt. Over-tightened wheel nuts can impede spinning and cause motor wear and battery degradation.
If the wheel falls off while driving, ensure washers are in place and split pins are correctly inserted to hold the wheel securely.
